Forever Moon is a Baltimore-based rock band whose blend of passionate lyrics, melodic harmonies and impressive musicianship has drawn comparisons to Tom Petty, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Tonic and Vertical Horizon. Formed in April 1999, Forever Moon has continued to amaze crowds with their high-energy shows and thought provoking lyrics. Since their formation, they have had the opportunity to perform with several national and regional acts and in 2001 released their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which they recorded with the help of their friends in the Grammy-nominated band Smalltown Poets.

July 2002 marks the release of Forever Moon's much anticipated sophomore album, FM Radio. Recorded alongside producer Matt Goldman (My Hotel Year, Dennison Marrs, Smalltown Poets) and Rodney Mills (Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Sheryl Crow), this album combines the strengths of the band displayed on their debut album with the considerable experience of their production staff to bring about a driving, rock album that continues to show their growth as musicians and establishes them as one of the premier bands in the region.

History :

Forever Moon began playing music together in the spring of 1996 while working as counselors at summer camp. They enjoyed the opportunity to perform music together and thought they'd like to play more often. However, with plans to pursue a degree at college, they were unable to do much other than impromptu jam sessions. After another summer of playing music at camp, the guys decided that music was something they genuinely wanted to pursue. They enjoyed playing together and found that it provided them with a creative outlet through which they could share their experiences with others. This desire pushed them to finally piece some songs together.

In January, 1998, Forever Moon, then under the name "Forty Days," made its debut appearance at a Baltimore restaurant named JazNicks. The band played an acoustic set, playing cover songs for a packed room of patrons. The crowd enjoyed it, but more importantly, we enjoyed it and thus began the journey that would lead them to begin Forever Moon. In March, Scott invited a friend, Danny Zaverl to play one show with them in April of 1999. After a few practices, Danny jumped in and the show went well. Sensing a busy summer schedule ahead, we asked Danny to stay on through the summer and thus Forever Moon was born.

Before of summer of 2001, Forever Moon underwent a few changes in its touring line-up. Original members Danny Zaverl and Andy Flynn each decided to take a hiatus from the band and life on the road. Scott and Sean Patterson remain with the band and together form the reconstituted core of Forever Moon. Rounding out the bands new line-up are bassist Colin McGough and drummer John Newberry. With a renewed passion and energy that these changes have brought, Forever Moon continues to tour throughout the Mid-Atlantic in support of their sophomore release titled FM Radio, while solidifying their reputation as one of the East Coast's premier bands..
